Burgh Castle for peace & tranquility
Our Reception is a welcoming, well-stocked customer information & resource centre including our own permanent displays on the adjacent magnificent Roman ruins and the surrounding Broadland conservation landscape, a broadband internet access point and a free book lending library for holiday reading. Staff love our beautiful countryside and are keen to help customers discover and explore the area.
Our riverside public house, café and restaurant enjoy one of Broadland's most stunning locations with wonderful views. Following extensive refurbishment, they are now under our own management and focus on offering fresh food, freshly cooked, with fine drink in a quiet and relaxing setting. View our menu.
Security is ensured by electronically controlled vehicle access to the park and marina and with our spacious, low density layouts, traffic calming and efforts to maintain a quiet, peaceful and green environment, our park is a place where your children or grandchildren can play and cycle offroad safely. We do offer a small children's play area with swings and a giant slide which we hope our guests will enjoy all year round.
Marina berth-holders, seasonal tourers and short stay touring visitors have the use of amenity buildings, providing free hot showers, toilets, hairdryers, baby changing facilities, a disabled suite and a vegetable preparation and wash up room. There is also a launderette available to all customers and chemical sluice points.
We stock bottled gas, but all new holiday homes are connected to piped gas.
