Our Reception is not just a place to check in when you first arrive, but rather somewhere for friendly advice and lots of information about how to make the most of your stay and to help you begin the first of many explorations. So as well as our permanent displays explaining our local wild-life, marshland and cultural heritage, you will find visiting exhibitions in holiday season by local heritage and wildlife organisations and by local artists and photographers. We share with our customers a love of our beautiful surroundings and when you call in, we will be happy to show you our development plan for making over the park and marina. We aim to provide luxury holiday homes and park homes for sale in an attractive, peaceful setting, including holiday lodges on some of our plots with views of the Roman fort and of our marina. On completion, about 150 home owners and about 100 boat owners will form a private community, big enough to support the highest standard of shared facilities, but small enough to be friendly and personal and where individuals will always matter. Some plots for new holiday caravans with views are ready for occupation now. Our large outdoor pool is solar heated by our own original design and has a sheltered sun bathing lawn.

Our riverside free house and restaurant has recently been extensively modernised by its new tenant and features river views from indoors and outside. Open all year round, it's a great place to linger for a chat and a few drinks, for bar snacks or a full meal and throughout the season features regular singers and barbecues.

Our laundrette has washers and driers (operated by tokens on sale at Reception), and a sink for hand washing, an iron and an outside drying area.

Our new disabled suite is spacious and well equipped, complete with a vanity unit and hair dryer.

There is room for children to play or cycle offroad safely and a small, unsupervised play area with a giant slide and swings.
