Our Marina is reserved for private boat owners and is open all year round. It is ideally
positioned for access to the open sea via pre-booked bridge openings at Great Yarmouth
(about an hour downstream) and for a range of inland cruising on the Waveney and Yare
rivers as far as Norwich (about 20 miles). We have 75 fully reburished seasonal pontoon
berths with still a few available. Further development will increase capacity to
over 120 berths. All berths are accessible at all normal tides with a minimum draft of 1 metre.
Water and metered electricity (16 amps) are available. Pedestrian access into the marina is
controlled by pass keys with vehicle access electronically controlled. New arrivals have the
option of trailer launching via the slipway and secure parking and trailer storage is available for all berth holders. LPG is sold at the park reception and diesel, pump-outs, boat servicing and repairs are available at the boatyard next door. Berthing fees include use of all park facilities, when the holiday park is open, which include showers, toilets, disabled suite, launderette and a heated open-air swimming pool. The park also operates a riverside free public house and restaurant.
Our marina includes a small nature reserve where kingfishers have nested: herons and water
fowl are regular visitors, mink and common seals appear occasionally. A shoreside barbecue
area is being introduced this summer.
List: 1st March 2008 to 28th February 2009
Note: all of our prices include VAT at 17.5%. We regret that no boats are accepted without
proof of a valid insurance policy and signed acceptance of our berthing conditions and we
cannot admit hire craft (there are free public river moorings available just upstream).
