At Burgh Castle Marina you will be able to use your caravan when and as often as you like from 1st March until 31st October 08.

Your caravan will be sited on your own designated pitch in an area dedicated to static caravans.

The pitches are hard standing with electric and water hookup & wastewater discharge. Each pitch has a grass area along side for your awning and parking.

Your fee will include use of all the park facilities as and when available as with our static caravan customers. The charge for this is £1000. Winter storage of your caravan throughtout the time the park is closed for touring is £200. All charges are fully inclusive of vat.

7th Bellamy Gold

Our eight years in the David Bellamy Conservation Award scheme have brought our tally to 7golds and one silver award winning gold for the fifth consecutive time this year.

More and more of our customers are discovering the delights of local flora and fauna on and off the park, as well as taking part in the park's own conservation efforts, through recycling, using the local bus for trips into town and even sowing their own wildflower seeds.

We hope to do even better next year and are investigating the possibility of a live web cam feed so everyone can share the sights .... such as the kingfishers nesting in bank inside the marina last year.

Park Redevelopment

Park Redevelopment: Phase1

 

The current building works are on schedule and Phase 1 should be complete by the beginning of July.

 

The works comprise upgrading of electricity and water supply, renewal of sewers and addition of piped gas to eight existing holiday homes and to thirteen new holiday home bases. The latter are being constructed with parking alongside or adjacent and a few of these will be premium plots with views. Piped gas will not only be much more convenient than bottled gas, but cheaper and “greener “ too.

 

During the autumn, the second phase of construction will commence, including the same upgrading and renewal of existing services and extension of the piped gas network to further new holiday home bases for holiday caravans and holiday lodges. At the same time we are committed to installing a wireless internet network, available to all holiday home and boat owners on the park and in the marina on an optional basis.

 

Unlike many other parks, restrictions to prevent residential use or commercial sub-letting of holiday homes are and will continue to be rigorously enforced on this park, whilst pets are not permitted, so that prospective buyers will be assured of long term holiday use of their holiday homes in tranquil surroundings. All new homes will be sited with fitted skirts as standard and for maximum comfort and energy efficiency, we recommend only models with double glazing and central heating. All homes can be enjoyed for holiday use for eleven months of the year (closure month February).

 

Please enquire at Reception, for details of different makes and models, for which we can provide price quotes and many of which can be viewed at our local distributors’ show grounds. Most models can be sited within a month of ordering, from July occupation onwards.

 

Following recent dredging, a limited number of seasonal pontoon berths are available in the marina and priority will be given (if needs be) to new holiday home owners.
